Music For Little Mozarts
Group Methodology: Aaron’s group piano classes for 4, 5, and 6 year-old children are centered on the Music for Little Mozarts method books. This fantastic method is written to provide appropriate piano instruction for this age group while simultaneously developing listening skills. It is also designed to provide a balance between the discipline necessary for playing the instrument and the enjoyment one gets from the process of music making. Your children will love their musical experiences with Mozart Mouse and Beethoven Bear as they journey through the adventures of learning to play the piano. The activities include singing, moving to music, clapping/tapping, playing instruments, and music listening. It also has do-re-mi songs, which are good to develop the ear and prepare students in learning scales and intervals. The Music for Little Mozarts classes are limited to 4 children and parental involvement is necessary in the beginning stages.
Class Times Offered, 2010-2011: Classes will be offered on-
· Wednesday or Thursday mornings at 10:00 AM
· Wednesday or Thursday afternoons at 1:30
· Wednesday or Thursday afternoons at 4:00 PM
Enrollment: New and continuing classes are continuously being formed for the start of each term. To enroll in a class, please download and return Aaron’s Music For Little Mozarts Registration Form, 2010-2011.
Term Start and End Dates:
· September 15th through December 2nd.
· January 12th though March 23rd.
· April 6th through June 16th.
Registration: Registration for this course is $100.00, which includes the Music for Little Mozart’s Deluxe Starter Kit. The Deluxe Starter Kit has all the key components that provide a comprehensive learning experience and make the course come alive. The vinyl tote bag includes: Music Activity Board with marker, Beethoven Bear and Mozart Mouse, Music Lesson Book 1, Music Discovery Book 1, Music Workbook 1, a CD 2-disc set (for the Lesson and Discovery Books) and Flash Cards for Book 1.
Tuition: Tuition for the course is $250.00 each term. One term is 11 weeks of lessons. Tuition in full is due by the second lesson of each term.
Missed Lessons: A weekly curriculum will be available so that a student who misses a class can stay on course. There are no refunds for missed lessons.
